In memory of John Hughes...

At the ballgame last night the announcer mentioned someone was from Blaine, WA (the little town at the Canadian border crossing of I-5).

Of course, the first thing that came to mind was "BLAINE? ... That's a major appliance, that's not a name!" (from Pretty In Pink, and yes, I know the spelling is not the same.)
