Double-you-you-bee-eee!

mc4bbs just posted a link to a tribute to commercial radio station ID jingles by the "Cadillac" of jingle producers, JAM Creative Productions out of Dallas.

I'm impressed with the work of the person or people responsible for arranging all of those jingles so that they flow together. And I know there are at least a few folks who read me who may or may not read Chaz, who would appreciate it.

p.s. WUBE is a country radio station in Cincinnati owned by broadcasting giant Bonneville International, which happens to be the station included in the song with which I'm most familiar.

Rehearsal funnies

You gotta love rehearsal directions taken completely out of context. I have a fairly extensive collection of them, usually uttered by our director or assistant director. In general we call these "Luluisms" after our director's nickname.
