Spotted this on a friend's blog:

"John Kerry Is A Douchebag But I'm Voting For Him Anyway".

While I disagree with the first of these propositions (he may have done some stupid things but that is no reason to characterize him consistently as a "douchebag"), I agree wholeheartedly with the second.

It is becoming increasingly clear to me that the very survival of this nation, if not the entire world, depends on somehow getting George II out of office this November. He is the closest thing to a tyrant this nation has had since, well, George III.

Words fail me to describe exactly how bad the right-wing coterie surrounding Bush is for this nation: the irreparable harm that has been done, the lives lost, the liberties discarded, the reputations squandered in the name of revenge, power, and money.
