I'm happy for Dennis and excited to find out what comes next. There will be a number of committees, made up of board members, singers, and other stakeholders including audience members and donors: one tasked with planning a big send-off for Dennis including two commissioned works, one with fundraising for the organization related to the occasion, and one with the search for new artistic direction for the Choruses.
Dennis Coleman, longtime artistic director of the Seattle Men's Chorus and Seattle Women's Chorus has announced that he will retire next year.
His final Seattle-area concert will be the SMC Summer concert held in conjunction with Pride Week in June of 2016.
