This is the March "ask me anything" meme. Please comment on this post and ask me what you will. All comments are screened and anonymous comments are allowed. Responses will be in my journal.

Response #1 -- Ask Me Anything

In the past, you've occasionally thought out loud about moving to Canada. Is that still an open path?

gmjambear and I wanted to try moving from Rochester to Toronto before we chose Seattle instead. My concern at the time was that it would take longer than I had to secure both an offer of employment and the necessary immigration papers.

I think if the opportunity presented itself I'd still consider it. However, my understanding is that time is running out, as the qualifying process for immigration has an age limit beyond which it is much more difficult to get landed status.
