This weekend the Seattle Men's Chorus begins a run of nine (!) performances of our holiday extravaganza, Home For the Holidays.

I hope at least, all Seattlites who read my journal will have the opportunity to see us perform. We'll be singing with Hokum Jeeves, an instrumentalist who specializes in unusual instruments such as the saw and the toy piano. The show also features the Aluminum Christmas Tree and over 200 singing teddy bears! It's been a lot of work and I think once you see the show you'll agree it's been worth it.

Saturday we open in Everett at the Civic Auditorium at 8 PM. On Sunday we have our big opening night at 8 with guest artist Judy Collins at Benaroya Hall (however, this performance is sold out). Then next weekend (Dec. 8-9) we have two shows in Tacoma at the Rialto on Saturday (2 and 8 PM) and another show at Benaroya on Sunday. Finally (after a weekend off), the weekend before Christmas (Dec. 21-23) we have three evening (8 PM) performances and a Sunday (2 PM) matinee all at Benaroya.

Hope to see you there!
