Monster House -- bear-licious...
Jul. 16th, 2004 04:14 pmLast Monday I recorded the episode of Monster House on the Discovery Channel for later viewing. When
gmjambear and I got around to watching it on Wednesday, we had a lot of laughs and a few good WOOFs.
For those who haven't seen the show, the premise is that the homeowners move into an RV for a week while Steve Watson and a crew of five builders go wild on some or all of the house constructing things that fit the particular theme of the show. In this case the theme was Ancient Rome and all the construction was done in the back yard.
Steve himself is kind of cubbish, with a little goatee -- and this episode we get to see him in a toga briefly. Often one or two of the builders are quite bearish on any given episode. This episode, not only were ALL the builders at least somewhat bearish, but so were two of the three homeowners, who so happen to be partners (the third is the sister of one of the other two). So this episode has got some serious eye candy. Oh, and their dog is cute too and practically steals the show.
The show is scheduled to be rebroadcast on the Discovery Channel on Sunday (7/18) at 3:00 PM (Eastern time).
Oh, by the way, we're off to Montreal in the morning, so probably won't be posting much if anything for the next week. Catch you all when we get back.
