This weekend has been fun, despite the weather and its aftereffects. I mentioned in a reply to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mathan that we had a major ice storm here on Friday, and gmjambear wrote this on the events of this weekend, including our chorus 20th anniversary celebration.
We (the RGMC) did an encore performance of four of the songs from the last concert: "Wanting Memories" by Ysaye Barnwell (Sweet Honey in the Rock), "Dance On Your Grave" and "Never Ever" from NakedMan, and the arrangement of "Kumbaya" we did on our CD. (Yes we have a CD, you can get one from the RGMC web site.)
I guessgmjambear perceives I'm being a little too modest when it comes to accepting praise for a job well done. Perhaps he's right, but you know, it's been a while since I really nailed something like that solo in "Dance On Your Grave".
Anyway, it's off to work I go... ;-)
