For those many who are, like myself, feeling more than a little defenseless after losing the trifecta -- Bush's election as President (by fair means or foul; exactly which, is irrelevant at this point), the increasing Republican majorities in both houses of Congress, and the eleven states enshrining anti-gay bigotry in their Constitutions -- this post by lostncove just may do some good.

And for those who would like a musical interlude to back up this profound statement, I can think of none better than the one I heard over and over again in Montreal:
