Strangely enough, I have been through/by Metamora, Indiana back in 1993? on my way from Cincinnati to Indianapolis, avoiding construction on I-74. I remember because I was bored and made up some song about meta-jungle life to the tune from Balti-mora.

Sorry, I don't actually remember much. It was dark.
