Concert Weekend

redcub's journal knows, we are having an RGMC concert tonight at 8:00 at Rochester's School of the Arts. I'm looking forward to this very much. I'm looking forward to seeing redcub again and meeting his partner too.
The program is "Tinseltown Tunes". We've got music from Saturday Night Fever (with several solos including one by yours truly), Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Mission, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (the latter featuring a solo byrandomwny), Moulin Rouge, and many more films.
We repeat the performance tomorrow afternoon at 2:00.
In an odd coincidence, one of my co-workers stepped into my office yesterday and asked about rehearsal (which we had last night). It seems his wife is the new choreographer for the Rochettes, our chorus's dance troupe.
I need to rest up for this performance, as last night I found my voice giving out from overuse throughout the day. So I don't plan on doing much else today but relaxing and taking care of a few necessary things -- at the moment I'm soaking my feet because they feel dry and cracked.
Hope to see lots of folks at the concert tonight!
