Yesterday afternoon, some cow-orkers¹ and I set up some large computer desks with high shelves in our Build Room. Unfortunately one of said cow-orkers had just come back from being out sick, and dutifully passed his illness along.

Of course, this had to happen on the very day I'd agreed to host our church council meeting. I'd like to thank Gary -- gmjambear -- for being helpful and understanding, and in general doing a lot of work he wouldn't have had to do if I felt better.

Off to bed...

Actually, I went to the doctor today because my throat has gotten so sore speaking is an effort and singing well-nigh impossible. He told me I have the flu and should consider myself out of commission for 72 hours, which means I won't be at the retreat nor Sunday's performance.

Oh well, at least I have an excuse to get lots of sleep... zzzzzzz....
