The most amazing radio ad I've heard in a while...
(Note: I probably have the names wrong, and the dialogue is guaranteed not to be verbatim, but this is pretty much what I heard yesterday morning on Air America Radio affiliate WROC-AM.)
Male Voice [on answering machine]: Hi, this is Tom and Steve, please leave a message at the tone. [Beep.]
Male Voice [leaving message]: Hi honey, it's me, I'm still here, probably won't be home for a while. Don't hold dinner for me tonight. Love ya, bye. [Click.]
Narrator: You know what's wrong with gay marriages? [Pause.] The same things that are wrong with straight marriages. A message from PFLAG and equality.org.
I sat back for a few seconds before getting out of the car, amazed that one of "our" ads had finally made it to the air. Way to go, PFLAG!

I guess that concept is just too "controversial" for CBS and NBC.

I love the tagline in the ad: "Jesus didn't turn people away. Neither do we."
Thanks for sharing the PFLAG ad. I'm glad not all broadcasters are changing their policies to pander to the Christian Taliban.
