Double-you-you-bee-eee!

[livejournal.com profile] mc4bbs just posted a link to a tribute to commercial radio station ID jingles by the "Cadillac" of jingle producers, JAM Creative Productions out of Dallas.

I'm impressed with the work of the person or people responsible for arranging all of those jingles so that they flow together. And I know there are at least a few folks who read me who may or may not read Chaz, who would appreciate it.

p.s. WUBE is a country radio station in Cincinnati owned by broadcasting giant Bonneville International, which happens to be the station included in the song with which I'm most familiar.

B-o-n-n-e-v-i-l-l-e Bonneville Bonneville! :)

(not only do I work for them, I know the high school fight song, thanks to my mom)

Scott Shannon was in Los Angeles at the time... KUSA is in Denver. :-) Just a few of them from that package.

KOST is still very much that "sound" last I knew.

WEZO-FM 101.3, WNYR-AM 990 (Fmr 680), WUHF-TV 31 were Bonneville stations I worked for in the 80s! They sold them off to Malright Broadcasting, then Grace Broadcasting (then things went downhill fast).

I'm glad you enjoyed the JAM Song! I was so happy to find it. To this day, I remember hearing (sing-songally) "Zorp Furble!! -- Andromeda!" and Joe Flemming and I just about pissed outselves!

Ask me about 716-222-0400 someday in private --- "You're caller number 98!!!!"
