Beautiful day

gmjambear and I took a jaunt into downtown Seattle for the day. We parked out at Eastgate and took the express bus into town so we wouldn't have to worry about parking.

First stop was the Pike Place Market, where we picked up a couple of street-festival T-shirts, swung by Kell's Pub for a bit of lunch and some Irish hard cider, and stopped in to see badrobot68 at his shop.

Next we browsed Borders and I picked up a book for Gary, Bird By Bird, that was highly recommended in sunsmogseahorse's journal for anyone who would like to make a living from writing.

After that we caught the Capitol Hill bus to Broadway and Pine, visited the ATM and had dinner at Taco del Mar, then went over to the Broadway Performance Hall (formerly part of Broadway High School) at Seattle Central Community College to see Diverse Harmony, the gay-straight alliance youth choir.
