The other kind of bears

There have been a number of sightings of wild bears (real bears of the four-footed variety) in residential neighborhoods around Seattle. The latest was this weekend in Bremerton, across Puget Sound from downtown Seattle and a bit to the south. In this case the bear went immediately up a tree and was brought down with tranquilizer darts and relocated. An earlier incident near the University of Washington ended when that bear died, probably from an overdose of the tranquilizers.
