Remnants of Rochester
Gradually the last remnants of our life in Rochester are falling away. Last week I received the closing statement on our condo, which officially sold on the 12th; last night I got the final electric bill, which will be paid from my credit union account in Rochester on May 6th. Between now and then, I need to get Sprint to bill from my Alaska credit union account (they're here in WA because of Alaska Airlines and serve both AK and WA residents) and then I can close my Rochester accounts completely.
What got me thinking about this was observing that one of the last of our bathroom supplies we brought with us (a box of cotton swabs) is about to run out and be replaced, leaving just one Wegmans-branded product in the bathroom (a bottle of ibuprofen that expires in September). We do have a few other things in the kitchen that will take some time to go through, but most of the other stuff we threw out as we left because it was old and stale.
