Picking our battles
The past few days I've been meaning to write something to, yet again, try to make sense out of the issues of the day, and I'm not getting very far. I suppose the problem I'm having is that the people behind these current events -- the misAdministration and the corrupt CEO's that seem to be the power behind the throne, as it were -- are so wrong, on so many levels, that it simply isn't mentally or psychologically possible to keep up with every fresh outrage as it happens.
Is it the plan of these bastards to simply overwhelm the American people with bad behavior until the entire nation -- nay, the world -- is cowed into silence? Or is it simply the Madness of George II1? I think there is a method to this madness but I can't seem to put my finger on it.
1This can be read "the Madness of George, Two" -- the sequel -- or "the Madness of George the Second", take your pick.

It looks like at least some of the Democrats have grown a pair, so to speak, over the past several months with the waning popularity of the current misAdministration. The increasing number of damaging reports coming back about who knew what when, and all the efforts to suppress valid intelligence and even science itself, don't speak well of the Republicans, and it's looking suspiciously like they're using the same intelligence infrastructure torefocus everyone's attention on Iran.
Let's hope that enough people have come to their senses that all this saber-rattling doesn't result in a nuclear incident that may well extinguish human life as we know it on this planet.
