Drama at JFK
As our flight arrived here in New York from Seattle, apparently something burned either inside or outside the rotunda where my connecting flight is waiting and the rotunda had to be evacuated while the smoke cleared. Whatever fire was there to create the smoke was obviously out but the smoke was quite thick and disgusting, like plastic upholstery. It doesn't appear anyone was hurt. They have since let people back in to begin boarding their flights.
The flight from SEA was uneventful. I sat next to a cute goateed fellow (whose wife was seated in front of him in the next row, darn...) and pretty much everyone slept most of the flight, it was the "red-eye" after all.
We should be taking off for Rochester shortly so I'll need to pack up and go. Updates for the past couple of days should follow later.
