Here we go again...

Canadian airlines think new TSA program violates privacy law
Canada's airlines fear violating privacy under new U.S. rules

All I have to say is "same shit, different day." See this post for more information.

This needs to stop. We're already chasing away business and tourism alike with this crap.

My guess is that as this unfolds under Obama's watch, things like this will get reviewed and things may change for the better for us and for all but under Bush, he did everything he could to justify his way of doing things, even if by bullying people to accept.

I'm so glad that SOB is out of office.

The next step will be names of any passenger flying within a given distance of the US border. Since 90% of the Canadian population lives within 200 km of the US border, that would be all flights.

I'm beginning to think that the rest of the world should pick a day (maybe July 4th?) and just CUT THE US OFF FROM THE WORLD FOR A DAY. No flights into the US. No border crossings. No oil, natural gas or coal. No financial transactions. No shipping. No service to US planes or ships in foreign airports or ports. No diplomatic communications. No NORAD. No DEWLine. No telephone, telegraph or satellite communications. No-fly restrictions on US citizens worldwide.

But I haven't thought through the congressional retaliation yet.
