I suppose I have a lot to post about tonight. I posted a rant (strong language) about Ciba Vision's abrupt discontinuance of my prescribed contact lens solution. They're still not back, but I've had no problems switching to the more common sodium citrate-based cleaner from the now-unavailable hydrogen peroxide-based solution Ciba sold. This despite the mantra of "do not change solutions without consulting your eye care professional." Fuck them. I now have two big, wonderful bottles of Walgreens-brand no-rub solution and am doing just fine, thank you.

It took a complete shutdown of one of the major players in the contact-lens industry to tell the world what an outright scam this is. Well, I'm with Anne: "You are the weakest link. Goodbye."
